I&#039;ve actually already got that build and ready to go, but am hampered by the fact that my RAID-1 mirror is re-synchronising after what appeared to be an RCU related panic on shutdown last night - the joys of RC kernels!</description>

Any chance you can repeat the test with the current tip?
I&#039;ve just landed async I/O support, which should provide better performance.

With the current tip, you&#039;ll need to install libaio and libaio-dev(el) packages to compile and run zfs-fuse (I haven&#039;t added config checks yet).
