We’ve been away for a few days as Donna took me away to Gippsland to visit the old gold mining town of Walhalla for my birthday. We also took a trip up to Aberfeldy, which had over 1,000 people, 2 hotels and a school there at its peak, but now has about 7 houses in total left in occupation.

The BBC is reporting that a feature on Titan could be a lake, though, of course, scientists are being careful to not rule out other possibilities. New Scientist also has an article.

In other news, we’ve just switched our ADSL provider from TPG to get a 1.5Mb/s connection for $10 more than TPG were charging us for a 512 package, and we’ve still got static IP and unlimited downloads..
