Big, Shallow Earthquake Hits Japan, Tsunami Warnings Issued

The US Geological Service has reported a large (magnitude 6.4) and shallow (estimated depth 10km) earthquake off the coast of Kyushu, Japan. ABC news is reporting that Tsunami warnings have been issued.

Update: ABC News is now reporting one dead and 400 injured, but no tsunami.
