Well today it hit 43.4C at 6:15pm…

Thanks for the heads up, I’m glad I got a portable AC unit recently (right befoure the summer price rise) and don’t have to leave the house for a while ☺. I don’t know if it will work with such high temperatures though.
One day, Dad wandered out into a valley north of Pannawonica. The in-the-shade temparature was 52°C just before lunch.
Coming back after lunch, he brought an egg. He cracked it onto a piece of haematite (iron ore) _in_the_sun_ to fry it. No technology at all. Take egg. Break it. Wait. End of story.
_Last_ Sunday (18th), girlfriend awoke (in Wisconsin) to MINUS 17 FAHRENEIT.
Has the world’s weather gone nuts? Projections from NASA data amount to no global warming… Arctica is melting (volcanically) but Antarctica & the world’s glaciers are all growing… but an Ice Age.
