New cluster taking shape

Tango, the new AMD Opteron cluster that’s getting built at VPAC to replace the now 4 year old Brecca is taking shape nicely!

    And the tubey looking things are freon heat exchangers, right?

    Seems everytime you get a New Shiney!, you have to upgrade the A/C, wiring and UPS. Soon you’ll be getting your very own megawatt substation, just like APAC!

    Er, this is the first time we’ve upgraded the UPS and A/C in our machine room since it was built in in 1999/2000!
