Sometimes when you ask for something to be translated to a language you don’t know it’s a good idea to get the resulting translation translated back into your own language.. 😉
English: No entry for heavy goods vehicles. Residential site only
Welsh: I am not in the office at the moment. Please send any work to be translated
(Via)
brillinat!
And in rot13, it reads:
“Penguins are awesome vehicles. Leave one at the desk”.
@Tim: you been at the telescope polish again mate ? 😉
@Shoaib: diolch yn fawr!
😉
What more can I say ?
This kind of thing seems to be a common occurrence these days.
The BBC has picked this one up now..

Umm, that’s the one I linked too originally.. You’re not keeping up Andrew! 😉
oops…your link style is too subtle for me 😉 Bring black blue underlining I say ! 😉
*bring back blue underlining even 😉
now that’s a Freudian slip.. 😉
I will be funny if there was a sign say in:
English:Queue expected up ahead slow down
and it would have been translated in to saying in:
Welsh: No Queue up ahead go 70 Miles Per Hour.
🙂
